Hello Lovelies!

I just got back from an amazing week at camp, and I am so excited to share my experience with you! Some of you may know from this post that I have already attended this camp this summer, but this past week was so much better! There are so many fun things to do during the week - swimming, canoeing, tubing, ropes course, horseback riding, tennis, archery, arts & crafts, and many, many more! Oh, the food... the food is amazing! The activities and food are great, but the people are the best part. I have made so many incredible friends - from campers to counselors, you'll always feel welcome and at home! This was my 9th year attending this camp and I am just too excited to spend my 10th year as a counselor next year!

Tuesday Treasures 07/16

I've been on a hunt for some jewelry, so I stopped in Apricot Lane to look at what they have to offer. They have a great selection, so I definitely recommend checking them out! I bought two great necklaces, and I am so excited to wear them! Check out their Facebook page!
The shoes... Oh these lovely little booties! Obsessed is an understatement! I have been looking at them on Shoemint.com for quite a while. They were a little pricey, but I discovered I somehow had a credit for the website! I managed to get them for $18! Can you believe that? Because I couldn't! They are perfect for every season. I love the texture, the metal, and the plunging sides to show a little ankle! Although they are no longer available, Shoemint.com has other great selections!

Never give up on a dream, even if it seems out of reach. If you want something badly enough, strive to get it! Don't sit back and sulk because you didn't try. It's better to try and fail, than to wonder what could have happened. Also, help others achieve their goal! I challenge you to help out a friend. Push them to achieve whatever it is they are striving for! You would want someone standing behind you, encouraging you to never give up, so go out there and be that encouragement for someone else! Who knows, maybe they'll stand behind you.

Which Watch? Michael Kors vs. Fossil

I have recently discovered that I am going through a watch obsession right now. All I want to do is buy watches! I mean how can you not? There are so many fabulous ones out there! The real question is, "Which brand watch do I want?" Well, because of a bad experience, I go for Fossil watches. I know, I know, Michael Kors watches make you look cooler - they're so pretty and all that good stuff- BUT how good is the quality? I had a MK watch that I was in love with! It was the first watch I got (besides my lovely digital ones), so I made sure it was perfect. Well, it was, except for the fact that it always fell off; I swear the thing never stayed on! I went out one night and that was the last time I ever saw the beautiful thing - sad story, I know. Since then, I've refused to buy Michael Kors watches, and I now stick with Fossil - I LOVE FOSSIL (I've actually bought 3 new watches in the past 7 months - 2 in the past month)! So ladies and gentlemen, if you are searching for a new watch, I highly recommend going with Fossil! (On the other hand, if you're looking for a purse, MK all the way.)

Let The Morning Time Drop All Its Petals On Me

Tuesday Treasures 07/02

Alright, so I'm starting a new segment called "Tuesday Treasures." I decided to take a little trip down to Sephora and Target to find some goodies.  Now you have to understand, I love buying lipstick, but the problem is I never actually wear it! I tend to buy the bright reds that I can't wear very often, so they just sit in my room not being used. But good news! I found some that I LOVE and can wear wherever and whenever!



NARS - Niagara
     I absolutely love this color! The picture isn't really accurate, but I wore it in a post here!
Korres - Raspberry
     As weird as it sounds, this stuff feels so good on your lips! It is incredibly refreshing with a slight tingle!
Sonia Kashuk - Ruby Rose
     This is kind of a darker pink, but it's pretty when you put it on! I haven't worn it yet, but I'll let you know when I do!
